Yes, today or yesterday (28 Oct 2026) afternoon there was a contest at Codechef. I gave it a try, and was able to solve only 1 question. I am not sure if I really was able to solve that even because the verdict may show AC but still my code might get hacked at the end. I am not accustomed to new style of competitive programming judges on the sites. It has been long time since I was really able to participate in a competition and code something.
By the way, today - 29th Oct is a Republic day Turkey so I want to congratulate people of Turkey with their (and our) Republic Day: "Cumhuriyet bayramın kutlu olsun, Türkiye!"
Let's continue with our problem solving. So, I could have solved the second question also but I didn't like my debian dual boot settings because of very small font size etc. I was able to make font size a bit bigger in cli but I couldn't manage to do that in gui. Well, the text got bigger but the icons etc was relatively smaller so I got annoyed and tried to change my dual boot distro during the competition. I looked at lubuntu (lightweight ubuntu), gosh that was 3.7GB of storage just the bootable image. How come that is a light if it takes that much space? Also, the website lubuntu.net was not working, only was able to download it via lubuntu.me and check sha256sum. Also, dd burn of the image to usb didn't work properly or I wasn't able to see my bootable usb during uefi boot.
Anyway, I made a switch to archiso, that also got bigger boot image (around 1.9GB I guess) than I expected. But, thank God, AI is so good that it helped me to erase Debian Linux distro from my Windows 11 dual boot laptop, and silently take place it with Arch Linux image. Without the help of ai I think I would wander around the forums forever just to fix few glitches. Because I remember in the past it used to take me 2-3 full days just to figure out how to connect to wi-fi network each time I restart my laptop.
Warning here: I didn't use any help from ai though about the competition.
So, I am glad that I install arch because I am introduced to i3 window manager. It is so good for now. I love it. # startx /usr/bin/i3 is enough to enter at bash and there you go. On debian I was doing # startx /usr/bin/qutebrowser to get qutebrowser working. But there were another problems like
