How to remove a website from GoDaddy

Well, I tried to remove or delete a past website from my GoDaddy account but it kept showing me how to edit or publish a past website instead of deleting it.

So I tried to ask AI services but they couldn't help me either. Finally I uploaded the screenshots then the Gemini AI helped me a bit.

Here I am attaching the Gemini's help. Also, when you remove the website, godaddy com sends you an email of confirmation of deleting it. When you check your inbox and click on confirmation, then finally you can remove an unwanted website or domain from your godaddy services. Thanks

Looking at those screenshots, you are exactly where GoDaddy wants you to be—the "Venture" dashboard where they hide the delete button to push those "Premium Features."

Since you are currently in the Adma company dashboard, you won't find a "Delete" button there. You have to go into your account settings to kill the "Free" subscription.

Follow these exact steps:

  1. Exit the Dashboard: Click the "TB" icon (your initials) in the top right corner of the screen.

  2. Go to Renewals & Billing: From the dropdown menu, select Renewals & Billing. (Do not click "My Products," go straight to billing).

  3. Select the Free Site: Find the row that says Websites + Marketing Free for admacompany.com.

  4. The "Cancel" then "Delete" Trick:

    • Check the box next to it.

    • Click the Cancel Renewal button at the top.

    • Once canceled, a Delete link or button should appear in that same row. Click it.

    • Confirm the deletion in the popup.

If you just want to take the site offline (Unpublish):

If you want to keep the "Manage" button in your panel but stop the world from seeing the Airo-generated site:

  1. Click the Edit Website button (visible in your screenshot).

  2. Inside the editor, look at the top menu bar and click Settings.

  3. Select Site Settings.

  4. There should be an Unpublish button at the bottom of that menu. Click it and confirm.

Why is this happening? GoDaddy "Airo" automatically generates these sites when you buy a domain or search for one. It treats the "Free Site" as a product subscription. Until you "cancel/delete" that specific free subscription from the Renewals & Billing page, it will keep cluttering your dashboard.
